Appointments
Appointments scheduled between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. are generally reserved for patients requiring shorter appointments. This allows us to treat the majority of patients after school or work. Longer appointments such as placement, removal or repositioning of brackets/bands, etc. are scheduled throughout the morning. This allows us to give more individualized attention for these more time-extensive appointments.
Patients coming in for an initial consultation should plan on a 1 hour appointment. Routine appointments are normally 20-30 minutes in length. If your next appointment is going to be longer than 20-30 minutes, we will let you know when that longer appointment is scheduled.
Any patient who is 15 minutes late for an appointment will be rescheduled. Patients who plan to miss an appointment are asked to provide 24 hours notice of the cancellation either by phone or e-mail. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge for the missed appointment.
We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask you to extend the same courtesy to us. We understand that circumstances do arise that can keep our patients from keeping their regularly scheduled appointment times. If unable to provide 24 hours notice, please call our office as soon as possible. This courtesy on your part makes it possible for us to give your appointment time to another patient.
